Superior Fiber Statistics

For 2013:
AFD: 18.3 µ, SD: 3.5 µ, CV: 19.2%, CF: 99.6%  Curve: 59.6! Xclipse maintains continuing superior fiber stats as a breeding male.

Skin biopsy results: Top 1% Of Males evaluated

Norm Evans recently performed a skin biopsy on Xclipse, and stated:

“Xxxtreme Xclipse shows uniform placement of large fiber clusters uniform in both size & shape. His true density is 89.5 follicles per SQ MM of skin. His S/P ratio is 14.0 to 1 and virtually none of his secondary fibers are medullated, which is extremely rare and appears to be a strong genetic trait. My calibration shows his secondary fibers average 17.1 microns while his primary fibers average only 22.8 microns for a variation of only 5.7 microns. His density, gland presence, fineness of both secondary and primary fibers along with narrow spread place Xclipse in the top 1% of males that I have evaluated.

Xclipse CriaCrias on the Ground--Spectactular!

Here's what other farms are saying about their Xclipse crias...

"With crias from dams of all colors, Xclipse has sired some outstanding offspring from white, light to fawn–each cria carrying great style and phenotype along with highly aligned fleeces and good character and density, even so young. We love the degree of brightness and uniformity we are seeing. We are thrilled with this crop of Xclipse crias." – Amanda VandenBosch, Flying Dutchman Alpacas

"Wow! She is absolutely stunning! Her fleece is some of the best we have seen at this young age!” – Foggy Bottom Farm
